Aminoethyl Resins

Biomolecules can be immobilized by binding them to support under conditions that define the characteristics of the complex. Various other biomolecules can be immobilized for affinity chromatography (AC) in biological and chemical research. The related examples include the separation and purification of protein A, protein G, antibodies, antigens, and dyes from chemical mixtures by AC. As a result of covalent bonds between enzymes or ligands and agarose, aminoethyl resins enhance the stability of biomolecules and facilitate their recovery and reuse. The aminoethyl group will be selected depending on the biomolecule's accessibility, orientation, and orientation required for binding.
