Asp N Protease

• Description: Mass Spec Grade Asp-N is a metalloprotease that specifically cleaves peptide bonds N-terminal to aspartic acid residues in phosphate, acetate, or Tris buffers at pH 6.0-8.5.
• Physical Appearance: Mass Spec Grade Asp-N protease is a lyophilized powder (containing 10 mM Tris-HCl)
• Molecular Weight: 24.5 kDa
• Resuspension Buffer: Add 50 μL ultrapure water to dissolve.
• Storage: Store lyophilized powder at -20 °C; store reconstituted enzyme at -20 °C or -80 °C.
• Shelf life: 12 months at -80 ℃
• Usage Notes: Use at a 1:50 protease-to-protein ratio (w/w) and digest in a 37°C water bath for 4 hours. Buffer solution: 10 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5. To avoid autolysis, the incubation temperature must not exceed 37°C.
