Ca-325C | Capto L antibody fragment purification resin | Inquiry |
Product Information | |
Cat#No# | Ca-325C |
Product Overview | Suitable for the capture of a wide range of antibody fragments such as Fabs, dAbs, and single-chain fragment variable (scFv) . High binding capacity, low ligand leakage, and selectivity for a broad range of antibody fragments reduces process time and amount of resin. Enables a platform approach to antibody fragment purification. Excellent productivity, process economy, and process design flexibility due to rigid matrix. Hydrophilic base matrix ensures low levels of non-specific binding and low levels of host cell-derived impurities in the elution pool. Fulfills industrial demands for security of supply, robust performance, and regulatory support. |
Description | Capto L is an affinity chromatography medium (resin) for capture of antibodies and antibody fragments. It combines a rigid, high-flow agarose matrix with the immunoglobulin-binding recombinant protein L ligand, which has strong affinity for the variable region of an antibody's kappa light chain. |
Characteristic | High dynamic binding capacity and selectivity for a broad range of antibody fragments. Enables a platform solution for the purification for antibody fragments containing kappa light chain. Rigid base matrix allowing for high flow rates and high productivity as well as low ligand leakage. BioProcess medium with regulatory support and security of supply for commercial manufacturing. |
Applications | Capto L is suitable for capture of a wide range of antibody fragments such as Fabs, single-chain variable fragments (scFv), and domain antibodies (Dabs). |
