Product Overview
Core-Shell Multimodal Flow-Through Resin 700 kDa is a multimodal resin with a core–shell bilayer structure. The inert shell has a thickness of ~5 μm and functions as a gel filtration layer with a globular protein exclusion limit of ~700 kDa. During purification, target molecules are unable to penetrate the bead interior and flow through, while the core is functionalized with n-octylamine ligands that are hydrophobic and positively charged, binding as many non-target molecules as possible via multimodal interactions to widen the operational window. Core-Shell Multimodal Flow-Through Resin 700 kDa is widely used for purifying large biomolecules such as exosomes, plasmid DNA, and viral particles. Compared with conventional gel filtration resins, Core-Shell Multimodal Flow-Through Resin 700 kDa can provide substantially higher throughput than conventional SEC resins.
