Product Overview | Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography media Butyl Agarose 4 Fast Flow, Octyl Agarose 4 Fast Flow, Phenyl Agarose 6 Fast Flow (Low Phenyl) and Phenyl Agarose 6 Fast Flow (High Phenyl) are optimized for high throughput, high-resolution, high-capacity separation of proteins and other biomolecules based on their hydrophobicity. Dynamic binding capacity of a HIC medium depends on factors such as protein properties, salt type and concentration, presence of detergents, flow rate, temperature, and pH, but also on the properties of the medium. The base matrix is highly cross-linked agarose, providing high efficiency and super physical and chemical stability for both lab scale and processing scale applications. |
