Description MoSphere 50G/50V super-porous ion-exchange chromatography medium is based on hydrophilic polymethacrylate (PMMA) with a particle size of 50μm, which realizes accurate control of the pore size of the chromatographic medium. The ultra-large pore size structure design breaks the limitations of conventional chromatographic media. By means of a special surface modification technique, four chromatographic media including strong cation exchange (SP), strong anion exchange (Q), weak cation exchange (CM) and weak anion exchange (DEAE) were obtained by bonding different ion exchange functional groups on the surface of hydrophilic matrix, and the high density and uniformity of surface ion exchange layer were ensured.
Feature High binding capacity: the loading capacity is more than 10 times that of conventional agarose medium and 2 times that of conventional polymer medium;
High recovery: It can maintain the structural integrity of macromolecular proteins or viruses, and obtain the target proteins with high yield and high activity;
High resolution, high column efficiency: molecular mass transfer speed is fast, protein or virus particles can easily enter the pore to bind;
Low non-specific adsorption: hydrophilic modification of the surface of the microsphere can solve the strong adsorption problem caused by some hydrophobic proteins or viruses.
