It features highly uniform particle size, ideal sphericity, favorable mechanical strength, and a comprehensive range of specifications. Easy to pack, it delivers high column efficiency, high resolution, and low back pressure. Widely used for chromatographic analysis and industrial production of organic compounds, natural products, and biomolecules. Two types of normal-phase silica are available: unbonded silanol and bonded diol phases, to meet the separation and purification needs of polar compounds of varying polarity, particularly for polar compounds prone to tailing.
