Product Overview Octyl Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography Resin, Fast Flow is a hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) medium prepared by coupling n-octyl to agarose gel microspheres via stable ether bonds. It is widely used for the separation and purification of proteins (recombinant, native, antibodies, enzymes, etc.), peptides (synthetic, natural, fragments, etc.), and nucleic acids (plasmid DNA, genomic DNA, RNA, etc.) with hydrophobic character, and is suitable for capture and intermediate purification steps.
