This reagent uses a copper ion-based negative staining method for SDS-PAGE or non-denaturing gels. It does not require fixation and decolorization, and does not require the use of irritating formaldehyde and glacial acetic acid. The experiment is convenient and fast, and can be used within 30 minutes. The staining is completed inside, and a minimum of 2 ng protein band can be detected. The staining method does not produce any modification effect on the protein, and after being treated with the elimination solution, it can be used for protein recovery in the gel for mass spectrometry and sequencing analysis; it can also be used for electrotransfer or other staining methods to re-stain the gel. The dyeing method also overcomes the defect that conventional copper dyeing cannot be used for non-denatured glue and glue containing glycine and Tricine.
