• Product Overview: This product is a ready-to-use three-color protein standard, containing 12 pre-stained proteins, covering Tris-Glycine buffers of various molecular weights from 10 to 245 kDa. (9 to 235 kDa in Bis-Tris (MOPS) buffer, 10-235 kDa in Bis-Tris (MES) buffer). Proteins are covalently coupled to different chromophores to facilitate identification of bands. When the two reference proteins are separated on SDS-PAGE (Tris-Glycine buffer), they carry green and 75kDa corresponding to 25kDa respectively. The enhanced strength strips.
• Form: Each protein in the buffer is about 0.1~0.4 mg/ml. The buffer is 20 mM Tris-phosphate, pH 7.5, 25°C, 2% SDS, 0.2 mM dithiothreitol, 3.6 M urea and 15% (v / v) glycerol.
• Applications: Used to monitor protein separation during SDS-PAGE, verify the Western transfer efficiency on the membrane (PVDF, nylon or nitrocellulose) and estimate the size of the protein
• Storage: Store at -20°C.
• Loading volume: 15-well or 10-well micro-gels can be clearly seen by loading 3μl or 5μl electrophoresis respectively.The Western membrane transfer efficiency test is generally 1.5~2.5 μl.
