• Product Overview: This product is a blue protein standard, containing 11 kinds of pre-stained proteins, covering a wide range, with molecular weights ranging from 10 to 180 kDa. The protein is covalently coupled to the blue chromophore. When separated on SDS-PAGE (Tris-Glycine buffer), two reference bands with enhanced intensity (25kDa and 72kDaβ, respectively) will appear.
• Form: Each protein in the buffer is about 0.1~0.5 mg/ml. The buffer is 20 mM Tris-phosphate, pH 7.5, 25°C, 2% SDS, 0.2 mM dithiothreitol, 3.6 M urea and 15% (v/v) glycerol.
• Applications: Used to monitor protein separation during SDS-PAGE, verify the Western transfer efficiency on the membrane (PVDF, nylon or nitrocellulose) and estimate the size of the protein
• Storage: Store at -20°C.
